Frequently asked questions about the scanner
What's the difference between GEO and SEO at Priso?
GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) measures how findable and citable your site is by AI search engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini. SEO is classic: Google, Bing, technical signals, content quality. With Priso the full GEO analysis is bundled as an appendix in the SEO report — one PDF, both sides covered.
Which pages are crawled?
We start at the homepage and follow internal links to a reasonably deep sample (typically 5–15 pages). For sites with a sitemap we also pick priority URLs from there. Dynamic sections (search results, login pages) are not scanned.
How long does it really take?
A GEO analysis is done within 2 minutes. A full SEO audit takes 5–15 minutes, depending on site size and which checks fire. One scan in process at a time — if you are not first in the queue, you see your position upfront.
How many scans am I allowed?
One scan per day per IP. One scan per month per website. Plenty for an honest audit, not so much that the tool gets used for automated crawls. Need a re-scan sooner? Reach out to Richard on LinkedIn.
How safe is my data?
We process only publicly available pages (exactly what Google sees too). We don't store the content after analysis. The PDF report is kept for 30 days, then automatically deleted. Your phone number is used only for WhatsApp delivery.
Does it work on non-Dutch sites?
Yes. We analyse websites in any language. We write the report in Dutch or English, depending on your selected language on priso.nl.
What if the scan fails or returns an error?
It happens sometimes — sites with JS-only rendering, login walls, or strict anti-bot policies can block our crawler. In that case you receive a notification with an explanation. Reach out to Richard on LinkedIn if you need help getting it sorted.
